
About MUMS
For parents who have taken a short or extended period of parental leave to look after young children, re-entering the workforce can be a difficult and challenging process.
We understand that for many parents, the biggest barrier to re-entering the workforce is the need to find a balance between working hours and time for young children. That’s why MUMS is seeking parents who want to work with a business for set or flexible hours.
Our aim is to provide employers with MUMS candidates who want to provide their services regardless of their skill level to local businesses.
You may be a white collar professional who does not want to return to a high pressure position, but would still like to utilise your professional and life skills. Alternatively, you many not have worked for some time. If this is the case, we can help you re-skill and gain confidence to return to work.
MUMS will give you the opportunity to interact with people outside of the creche and school environment, and provide you with the stimulus and the enjoyment of work. And you will get paid too.
Every Business Needs MUMS.
MUMS will then go about matching you with a business that is seeking your skills. Where a match is made, it can be on a contract basis through MUMS or under traditional employment arangements.
At MUMS, we recognise that parents often have unique skills that many employers desperately seek. More than any other is the ability to juggle conflicting priorities; in other words, ‘multi-tasking’.
